Call for Volunteers!

About us:
The Communications Committee provides transparency to maintain and enhance section member trust and involvement by keeping members up to date on the International Health Section’s governance and activities. We also serve as the section’s public face by showcasing its members’ perspectives and expertise.

Vacancies:
1. Social Media Manager: Leads developing and implementing the section’s social media strategy.
2. Social Media Associates: Develop original written and visual content for social media.
3. Regular Contributors for IH Connect: Our regular contributors write original analyses, commentary, or education on global health topics for our blog once a month.
4. Guest Contributors for IH Connect: Guest contributors write original analyses, commentary, or education on global health topics for our blog. They are welcome to write a one-time article or a series of articles.

Requirements:
1. Membership in APHA’s International Health Section
2. Creative Writing Skills
3. Copywriting Skills
4. Social Media Marketing Skills
5. 1-2 Hours Weekly Commitment

Application Process: Submit your resume (1-2 pages maximum) and a writing sample to ihsection.communications@gmail.com. Please indicate the role you are applying for. You may also apply for more than one role and indicate your order of preference.
